Some random MUCK links...

...as I told love_hate_rape I'd post these. It's a little sketchy, as I have a shell account myself that I do most of my MUCKing through, so when my computer crashes, I don't lose my log's and what-not. :-)

Anyways... here's a surprisingly decent piece of software to get started with, though it's geared for a specific site, so it takes a bit of tinkering with. Unfortunately, almost all the decent client's are either nagging shareware, or by default linked to a specific MUCK or similair.

Anyways, next up, is some web sites for such places as FurryMUCK, Sociopolitical Ramifications, and Tapestries being the three primary MUCK's I know of. Though, I can't get on FurryMUCK due to some vague requirement with what e-mail addresses can be used for signing up, as they consider all mine 'anonymous' and said I needed to snail-mail a photocopy of my State ID card to them, something I refuse to do.

Anyways, if you need more help setting yourself up, Nyssa, I'll help, but it's hard to write a cookbook that doesn't rely on software that costs money, or a shell account at the very least. >^.^<

BTW, hope ya' enjoyed Bourne Identity? Or didja end up not making it to any showing? :-)

Never made it. Traffic caused me and steff to miss each other and end up at our respective houses. if brighteyes wasn't there, i' would have probably tried to crash with you.

Actually, BrightEyes left soon as we all stopped playing his GameCube game, which wasn't that long after you left the first time I don't think, a couple hours at most. Was long gone when I noticed it was nearly 10pm, and realized you'd not shown up for whatever reason, be it things taking longer or just not making it by my place before the movie, or plain not making it to the movie so not bothering to come snag me or whatever. >^.^<

Then again, he was actually relatively anxious to get home, since being stuck at the side of the road twice was bit unnvering, albeit very shortly while he got the throttle linkage working again for the second one. :-)
