Indeed, I certainly find your Displacer Beast Paladin amusnig, and interesting! Then again, I'm also currently playing the half-dragon/half-gnoll whose the sorcerer/pilot in our Dragonstar game.
He's currently wearing leather armor, studded I believe, with two gem's inset on the shoulders, activated by touch.
Would that actually make that Leather Barding, since you don't have thumbs? :-) At least as a half-dragon, in a dragon-run, galatic empire, getting armour isn't terribly difficult, just generally expensive. (Dragons? They've got lots of money, right?!) But, being the magic-wielding sorceror, I generally don't wear lots of armour. I'm more oft worried about the condition of my spaceship!
