I've proven to myself I'm still in decent shape.

About 20 miles of bicycling in just under 2 hours through city streets.

Yes, I lost my 'middle' speed range entirely and had to rely on lighter exertion at the 'slow' speed, or shift into my 'feral' mode, literally switch off the pain reflexes and crank it up to 'max' speed, but I did it.

And the scary part? My legs didn't hurt the next morning. At all. They, and I, feel better now than in months. I took my measure, and found myself anything but wanting in the final tally.
