  • Handspring Treo arrived. Birthday present from my mom and Mark. Is PRETTY. =^.^= And I now have something to program on other than borrowing Marks laptop.
  • Worked a 16-plus-hour-day less than 10 minutes from ManaWolfs place. *mewls* Miss her... am glad I can finally not force myself to be so distant. Love her too, but I love many people, her very high on the ranking. :)
  • Am exhausted, filthy, and happy I made it to work today. My hair-tie broke... I think I'm going to give up on them entirely and use real Scrunchies at work only, leaving my hair down the rest of the time.
  • And last, but very, VERY far from least... I LOVE [livejournal.com profile] mira_fastfire TO PIECES!

Re the Cluster: We have four in the house now. No good networking support, so no clusters. Treo 90, new, for $150? You betcha! *SNAG*

Re the Hat: Ick... I can't stand bands around my forehead or almost anything on my face at all, due to an injury no less when I was much younger. I still am picking grass seeds out of my forehead about 1-3 a year, and it just gets worse if it sweats. =-.-=

It's working out quite well. Now to start programming for it again, and this time, I'm sorry, but I'm skipping support entirely for the really low-end devices (Read: B&W or 4 shades of gray, 2MB stuff). They're just too much hastle to properly support. =-.-=

Handheld Apps.

I've got a Palm m515 and find it terribly useful for one thing or another. Lemme know what sort of apps you develop. :-)

Hardest question is... what apps SHOULD I develop? I'm good at developing just about anything, but I suck at knowing WHAT to develop. =^.^=

Right now, I think I may try to make a decoder for the Speex codec so spoken-word CDs and tapes can fit on the PalmOS PDAs. Around 50k/minute for audio recordings sounds pretty damn perfect to me. =^.^=
