chythar a chance, as he's taken the plunge, so to speak, and shown he's willing to finally compromise, and discuss things on everyone else's terms, or at least in their chosen forum (LJ) instead of trying to help everyone discuss them in his chosen forum (sit-down talks).
I'm going to be avoiding the entire discussion, except comments about how the discussion is taking place. My MPD makes me triple-biased in this case, as different facets of myself try to side with all three sides of the debate. This effectively rules me out from usable commentary, except as a sounding-board for anyone individually.
