The complaint of MDI vs SDI had come up repeatedly as of GIMP 2.0's release, as well as cropping up on the GIMP mailing lists and bug-tracking system in a small 'clump' of duplicatedid that on both of request-for-enhancements, so I'd thought the newer version of PS acted that way on both Windows and Mac from the amount of complaints I'd heard in articles about GIMP and from a perusal of the mailing list traffic.
I appologize for not explicitly testing a newest version of PS on Mac to verify that thought before accepting it. My bad.
