Swiped with a purposeful delay from dour to help keep the articles flowing longer, along with giving me time to provide a mirror for one of these articles for the inevitable point when the original source is moved to pay-to-view archives... I may augment the mirror with other articles if they come from registration-required sites or I deem them worth saving for long-term presentation.

Welcome to Coservative Republican America. Where you have roughly the same rights...on paper...as in pre-collapse Soviet Russia (FYI, the original Soviet constitution guaranteed rights almost on par with the US, including free elections...on paper...) but if you dare use them, you will be fired or jailed.

I'm also not surprised the article mentioned a military liason at the school...just like the Soviets had a KGB rep everywhere, repressive regimes need a political orthodoxy officer in place to relay 'truth'.

We need to get that war criminal Bush and his party of warmongers out of office ASAP come november.

At least the teachers have legal recourse. This is a plus.

Pity the principal for not realizing that the critical expression demonstrated on their TV circuit is the sort of thing that makes America great, if indeed it can be called great at all.

Thanks for this. I'm posting it in my LJ as well, with credit proudly given to you. This is beyond staggering. I recall my principal being a royal asshole too, but I can't, off hand, recall ANYTHING this outrageous. Hooray for Big Brother Bush, and the policy of totalitarianism.

But dour found it before me, I just sat on it before releasing it a bit so the initial 'pulse' from Dour's release was over with, and so I could include Dour's updated information in one post, instead of spreading it across multiple ones. =^.^=
