Eclipse is wrecked.

I'm okay aside from some bruises.

Guess what I learned? Guess what I spelled out, as blatantly as I could in the last post? That just because I can do something, does not mean the other guy driving another vehicle that has a possible physical interaction with my car can accomplish the same thing. And that implies the reverse, or I thought it did when I wrote it and didn't think to attach the vice-versa tag. Just because someone else can do something, doesn't mean that I can either. And guess who just had a very quiet weekend to think about all this, because my accident happened less than 4 hours after I woke up on my 'Saturday' began?

Thank you. And yes, I'm writing this to avoid writing a lot of duplicate entries, and this is also written with very little thought because I woke up in time to go to work tonight, and have to leave immediately to do so so can't take the time to make individual replies to everyone's comments on my original post seperately.

Wel,l I read your earlier post, and I also read this one.

I'm glad you're not seriously hurt.

I do agree with you the points you're making, and I try to live by that very principle while driving.

I try my damnedest to keep any eye out for everyone on the road with me, simply beacuse I know they can't do the things I can do, and vice versa.

Matter of fact, I avoided an accident with a truck behind me because I noticed the guy was eyeballing an accident on the otherside of the freeway, and not on ME in front of him. Traffic was beginning to slow, and he didn't see, so I honked my horn to get his attention, which it did, and then I was able to slowly slow down to a stop, because I leave like a 4-6 vehicle sized gap in front of me while driving at 70+ MPH, because it'll take me that long to stop without having to slam on the brakes.

Honey, people are ragging on you because they love you and they want you to be ok. I'm not going to rag, just say I'm glad you are mostly ok. It sucks about the car, at least you will be getting your money back, which is always a good thing. It sucks that you will have to look for a new car though. I was once in two accidents in three days, one when I went to go through a backed up intersection, and did not see that there was one more right lane gong the other way, and was severely t-boned. The other was in the rental car, while waiting to turn left, a semi turned left from the right lane and ran over the front of the car and I had to chase him down and run him off of the road, he did not even feel it because it was the trailer that hit me. This freaked me out for a while, and it seemed that oncoming cars were driving at me. I am even more careful now than I was then but crappy stuff happens, even when we are being careful. I'd kiss your owie, but I don't know you well enough to kiss your butt. Consider it kissed in spirit anyways.
