Car parked across two parking places. Literally the Oldsmobile emblem is centered on the line between two parking places, front and back. In front of a sign warning the Guest Parking Lot is only for 48 hours maximum. Affixed to the lightpost so it's HEAVILLY lit. With a baseball cap thrown on the front dash directly in the area of the light from the lightpost that reads Border Patrol, in approximately the correct colours and font per a quick web-search.

Been there since Saturday Morning.

Tow truck en route.

All else being event, Border Patrol people are more likely to be asshats than any other "street" law enforcement agency. Only corrections people are worse.

And you're right, this isn't the first time I've seen BP be assholes. Seperately, they're one of the few 'law enforcement' vehicles I know of that won't even slow me or anyone else down on the highways. Hell, I've been in the middle of a five-car pack (one in front, one behind, two to my right, two lanes) with nowhere to go when one of the cars (in front to my right) was a BP badged-and-tagged vehicle and the entire pack ended up in the triple-digits at points going down the long 20-mile downhill stretch of the 8 West coming back from Stalking Cat's when he lived down by the border.

In any case, I'm avoiding that parking lot at this point for the rest of the night obviously. :-) Thankfully, the plainclothes, unmarked-vehicle parking patroller agreed to camp out that lot for the rest of the night.
