I stole a meme from [livejournal.com profile] teekachu among many others!

You create new respect for the PT Cruiser, proving they can be tuned up nicely, keeping that all-important down-turn on the first n going all the way and firmly rooted in the ground.

Black. :-)

You're into cars, both making them look nice and perform well.

5 ). I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
Hrm... I'm not even sure how we ran into each other's LJ, let alone each other. Probably your reply-post to my intro on [livejournal.com profile] motor_furs though, wondering why it'd taken so long to find the community.

*arou* We're half-related. You just went too far with the wolf, you need more feathers in you. =^.-=

Modern PT Cruiser vs Modern Prowler, pros/cons?

Actually, I think we knew each other long before motor_furs came about.

I think I might of tried Virgil's before, do not remember enjoying it like some of my other favorite brands.

As for the PT vs Prowler debate.
Both cars show a lot of creative engineering and styling, even though the two were designed for different functions.
It makes me sad to think that the prowler really was not given as much of a chance as it should have gotten. There is a lot that could still be done with it, and there should have been a second generation. But at las, Plymoth got the ax, and Dodge nor Chrysler felt like picking it up as a model line. Never driven or rode in one, but have heard that the steering is somewhat poor. It definitely needed a V-8 option.

The PT is a car that in some ways has gotten the attention it deserves, but there is still a lot more that it could be given. It is kind of odd to think of how there are three types of drivers out there in regards to the car:
1.) Those who do not have one or just do not like it.
2.) Those who own one, but do not really go as far with it as they can. I start to get a little teary eyed when I see a PT with no chrome on it.
3.) And then the enthuasists, and screwballs like me who can not get enough of them.
It has its drawbacks though. A four banger engine that even though has a lot of potential, Mopar does not offer much for it(though its cousin the neon srt-4 gets all the freaking toys), and the power craving nut has to go deeper into the jungles of aftermarket land to find what they need.
The areodynamics of the car pretty much kills it as a possible NASCAR vehicle, since basically it is a fast moving brick.
And of course, let us not forget to mention the Chrysler Curse when it comes to transmissions. =Dp
Eh, but enough rambling from me for now...
