Back in the saddle again...

...this time with Guardsmark.

I have this to say... damn good first impression as a security guard. Honest-to-goodness Men's Warehouse shirts (and I think the slacks are too) that fit like a glove, but I can still do the splits and handstands in without problems.

They're more comfortable than my t-shirts and jeans. =o.O=

Heh. I used to work with Guardsmark back in the 80's, the uniforms then were NYPD knockoffs in gray, but I still have the shirts. tough epauletted mens shirts. After 9 - 11 the security companies had to professionalize, and got more money for uniforms and equipment. What sort of facility did you get posted at?

I've got a few options...

...all of them food-processing facilities, mostly fruit-cups and the like so the pay's mild but it's quiet, relaxing work primarily. Of all things I'm waiting for their new shipment of badges/ID cards to show up next Monday before I officially start, so I'm getting some time to mull the choices over.

Most likely going for a graveyard shift if it stays available, especially with Summer coming here in the midwest.

And ya see how far in the dark I am these days... what part of the world are you in now? The Midwest? (*gacks/retches momentarily*) Spent too many f'ing years out there myself once upon a time, but if ya like it, more power to you... :)
Where in the midwest btw?
