...stop storing the login cookie code in the user record. It prevents folks from logging in from more than one browser at a time. Cell phones are often more than capable now (especially with Opera Mobile) of being able to load your website too. It's annoying to have to constantly re-login whenever I switch from mobile device (phone) to mobile device (laptop) and influences where I spend my money.

Well, I can only speak for FurBuy, but it's a security feature for us to limit login to a single location at a time, besides that we expire sessions after 30 minutes of inactivity anyway for security reasons. Since money and reputation and contractual obligations are on the line, we feel it's important to have higher security. Places like FurAffinity, on the other hand, really have no excuses. =)

I should rephraes my post a bit once I get home from work. If finances and what-not are involved? Then yes, limit things. But sites like FA, or Twitter, primarilly social sites, were admitedly my main targets of the rant. :-)
