Their 'Open Gaming License' components for 'd20' specifically prohibit ANYTHING that touches Character Generation of ANY sort, or experience of ANY sort at all, without licensing the full version from them.

Which I already know costs a freakin' arm and a leg, in the range of a four to five digit number, which is cheap, but prohibitive.

If there's any way to 'make' a character from scratch, or 'improve' a character at all, I can't 'advertise' as a d20 module.

So, I'm just going to skip it entirely, and base it on d20, but not make it a d20-compatable system. Gonna natch it over to a d100 hybrid instead, and convert the character attributes over as well from a rolled value to a 'chosen' value in a wider range, that should be fine.
