I never saw any news posts about this back when I followed emulation heavilly...

...but apparently TextNES has gotten something of a Cult Following.

It's minor... but damn... I never knew I was some popular, unknown emulator author. I just made something I thought was nifty, and forgot about it. =^.^=

Yeah, it's been a while since I could catch up on you with this, but I finally confirmed things regarding the drawing I did for you oh-so-long ago and such..
I talked to my dad and he said that we definitely didn't get $50 from the bank, and that we were charged. Also, I looked high and low (I finally came home this weekend so I could look there too), and I couldn't find the drawing I made for you. SO- I must have sent it to you like I originally thought, because I don't have it....

And now that we know what the situation is, what are we going to do now? o.o

`Kay. Item by item time. =^.6=

We'll assume the bank charged you $15-$25 for the bounced check, so I owe you that.

I never got the physical original, but I still have the scan you sent ages back. I usually only get artwork in digital form these days, but the scan I have is noticably smaller-resolution than the usual full-size art I get. How do you want to handle this? $40, or the full $50? Your call, hon. =^.^=

And regardless of the above, if you don't mind drawing it again, and if I have the extra cash from the next paycheck, I'd be interested in re-buying the piece properly this time.

It will all have to wait until my next paycheck at the very least, on the 16th, however. I hope that's okay? =^.^= And if you don't mind re-drawing the artwork, what would you charge for that? $100 even for everything, or is that too low? I just picked $100 as it's a nice, round number I can split into two payments easilly if you'd like some money Right Now. :-)

Sounds like a good deal to me.. $100 even would be fine, to make it simple. I would ask for more because I really would like to have some extra cash (college + low paying job + art major = little moneys), but I want to be fair to you too.

Do you pretty much want the picture to be of the same composition, black/white ink? I could probably do some colored pencil (since digital artwork has.. gotten nearly impossible to do by now, with classes and stuff), but I would charge more if you wanted color. Not much.. Maybe $110 or something like that, total.
Let me know how you'd want a new drawing. :3

*thinks* How about $120 for colour, in two payments of $60? =^.^= That sound good? :-)

And no rush what-so-ever on any of it, as with any artwork I get, I don't 'expect' to see anything for a year or more, so don't worry too hard about cramming it into your schedule. I try to be fair that way too. =^.^=

Okay, that sounds good to me. ^_^
I'm glad that you said that there isn't any rush. Thanks muches.. it'll spare me some insanity. ^.~
Now all I need is.. references for colors? Or how the colors work out and such... and if you still wanted the same general pose and everything.
I'm glad things finally got worked out. :D

The original was, and still is, one of my favorites for the design of WolfWings. It's far and away the closest of any picture to date of how WolfWings 'looks' to me, to be honest, so there's very little I could see changing in that regard. As for pose, whatever you feel like doing. =^.^= The original was quite nice, and showed him off well also.

Colours are easy, as well. If you really want, I can dig up 10-12 other images of WolfWings other artists have drawn, and you can see how they coloured him, or just go look up red wolves and spotted owls for reference of how WolfWings is coloured. That work?
