Aaaaaaaand... time for my second driving lesson.
Also, I'm going to need someone that's willing to sit down with me and help me muddle my way through LJ's insanely obaque interface so I can actually set up my own S2 style, since I'm a paid account now.
I tried for over an hour, but it's just... impossible to find anything, and even when I did find something it ended up not working or referencing a half-broken S1/S2 mishmash instead of just an S2 or just an S1 style. =-.-= Probably a bug, but if it's something I was doing wrong... good grief, I feel really bad for people just nosing around with a paid account. =^.6=

I did wonder why you were about to go to your first driving lesson at midnight.
Oh! *laughs*

Style browser (http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/layerbrowse.bml) - grab the source to one or two styles, study.
Advanced Customization (http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/) - your code goes in a layer, then you have to make a style that refers to it that you actually use.
Thanks, Peggy.
