Pointless prank? Check, yer' on the list.
False revelation? Check, yer' on the list.
Wishful thinking, but still an april fools joke? Check, yer' on the list.
Reading that sting? Sorry for you, but I feel like I've been kicked while I was down by a whole football team taking turns to rub each other's feet so they could make it through a couple dozen more times.

Don't specifically know why, but the sheer dumbtrucks full of bullshit 'revelations' have shoved me into throughly-pissed-off mode. I just reached 'critical mass' at some point, and it's all going out right here.

I don't want stupid pranks and false news. If I wanted that I'd read the Onion.

A webcomic poking fun at itself with a fresh front page, that I can understand. But lay off picking on those of us that actually care about and trust you, okay? Otherwise, you might lose that caring and trust, because we got bit on the ass for doing so one too many years in a row, regardless of the damn day of the year.

Does 9-1-1 shut down on April 1st? No, they have to take every call as seriously as any other day. Does the fire department and police department take the day off? No, they still roll on reported calls, bullshit or otherwise. Do I stop caring about how someone's doing, because it's April 1st? No, I still care, and I still try to keep in touch with how people are doing, and what's going on.

Kindly refrain from kicking me in the beanbag for giving a damn.

I agree. April 1st is tolerable, but goddamn I hate the stupid, seemingly horribly pranks people pull on here. You never know if it's real or not, and on the internet, that's just not cool.

Bingo.

Well and very succinctly said. In real life, the day's been great. The occasional joke, or bad reference, but on-line it just reached a breaking point for me, so I 'quit' for the day. And, true to my word, I didn't log back on until midnight. :-)

Am freakin' BORED lately though. Will get payed tommorow though at least, so that's a good thing. *hopeful look at timesheet* Need to clear my bank account and finish packing, since it looks like I'll be moving out of my current room back to the living room by the end of next week, so it's easier to move after that up to the bay area for the next year or five for that job up north.

Though tommorow I'll be scheduling my drivers test at DMV, and going to see Hellboy and at least one other movie at Downtown Disney with a housemate. Want to tag along?

Already have plans for it at the AMC 20 at Fullerton at 7pm with a few friends, if you want to come along. We're going to shinai afterwards as well. ^_^

Gah... that's so incredibly tempting. I was going to hit Downtown Disney simply because it's a nice theatre... and it's always freakin' EMPTY. Even for LotR, it was never even remotely full when we've gone, and it's not even expensive. :-)

Will check though, even if I get my ass royally handed to me at shinai would love to go at least once before I move, since I've never had the chance to do that really outside of the couple times at small gathers, mostly ones you happened to be at too. :-)

Gimme a call before you folks head out, as a last check? (909)255-3953
