It's official... Vista sucks so much the S.S. Microsoft has started to turn course...

...to the tune of officially letting OEM's know they can keep selling Windows XP to June 30th of 2008 instead of January 31st.

And don't forget that major OEM sources can downgrade you from Vista now, too.

Bets they'll extend that deadline again? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they cave and release DirectX 10 in XP SP3.

And Dell-supported Linux to boot.

Better hardware for cheaper than Mac, primarilly. LED screen w/ 64GB solid-state hard drive and 4GB of RAM would still be under $3k from Dell. Sold!
