Date: 2003-12-31 05:09 am (UTC)The GBA 'SP' edition rectifies all of these problems, reverting back to the 'classic' GameBoy format, and adding a cellphone-like folding case so it's even more convenient to fit in a pocket, and the screen is decently protected on top of that.
My only complaint with the 'SP' edition, is that they did away entirely with batteries, and rely on a non-user-replaceable lithium-ion battery in the original models I saw, a recurring change in much hardware today that I detest, as when (not if) the battery finally keels over, it's noticably more expensive to replace.
